Charlie Wade, 79, of Ocala, FL passed into eternal glory on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Charlie was born in Fort Smith, AR on January 22, 1939.  He was the son of Leslie and Zoe Wade (both deceased).  He grew up in Ocala and was a resident of Marion and Citrus Counties over the years.  He had many interests including sport fishing and cycling. He loved the Lord and loved sharing his faith with others.  He graduated from Florida State University in 1962 and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.  His career included Wade-Nolan Insurance of Ocala, Charles Wade Insurance of Crystal River and Suncoast Bicycles of Inverness. 

Survivors include a sister, Zoe Lee Murphy and brother Brooks Wade; four children, Gail Wade, Wendy Bowen (Charles), Les Wade (Stephanie) and Rick Wade; nine grandchildren, Mandi, Tyler (Milena), Kelsey (Airam), Wade, C.J. (Taylor), Hunter, Courtney, Leslie and Carter; and three great-grandchildren, Bowen, Zoey and Mia.

There will be a private graveside service for the immediate family followed by a celebration of life for friends and family on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bowen Family Farm located at 10020 NE 100th Street, Fort McCoy, FL 32134.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be most appreciated.
