Daniel W. Klotter, 87, died peacefully under the care of Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, FL on August 24, 2016. He was born into this life on December 1, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Daniel L. and Clara (Heitman) Klotter.  Daniel Leaves behind his wife, Patricia  Klotter, Ocala, FL; his daughters, Carla Bour (Timothy) Boulder, CO, Margot Bing (Gordon), Athens, OH and Andrea Nolan (Joseph), Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Aaron, Anna, Eric, Andrew, Matthew, Daniel and one great grandson, Alex.

Born and raised in Cincinnati he graduated from Western Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later an MBA. He served our country during WWII with the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. In 1955 he married his wife Patricia and made their home along with their daughters in Ohio.  In 1984 Daniel became a Florida Resident after serving the public from February 3, 1952 until March 11, 1983 retiring as a District Chief  from the Cincinnati Fire Department. His passion was golf, which he played every chance he got. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Daniel will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
