Donna Jean Turner Gordon, 91, of Dunnellon, FL and formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on July 29, 2017 peacefully at Brentwood Fore Ranch, Ocala under the care of hospice and with her daughter at her side. She was born on December 1, 1925 in Columbus, OH to the late Augustus M. Turner and Margaretha Kuhn Turner. Donna Graduated from Reynoldsburg High School as  class valedictorian. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Gordon in 1945 upon his return from WWII where he served in the Pacific on a Navy Destroyer Escort. Donna is survived by her husband of 71yrs., Harvey “Jim” Gordon; two daughters and sons in laws, Susan Humphress (Jon), Dunnellon, FL, Janice Blair (Bobby), Columbus, OH and her son and daughter in law, Phillip James Gordon (Bonnie), Carmel, IN; Donna is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jeb (Jada) Humphress, James (Brittany) Gordon, Caitlin (Cheney) Wainscott, Missy (Josh) Mocek and Andrew Gordon; 5 great grandchildren as well as her sister Jeannine (Jack) Winters, Columbus, OH and brother, Jack (Wilma) Turner, FL;

Donna is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda (Laylon) Harvey and brothers, Tom (Linda) Turner and Jim Turner (Polly) as well as her granddaughter, Lynn Suzanne Humphress.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
