Francis E. “Frank” Stohler, of Dunnellon, FL, age 96, died peacefully at home on June 28, 2016.  Francis was born in Pendleton, Indiana to his parents Rev. Artie Stohler and Fulia (Jackson) Stohler.  He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Stohler (1994) and his wife, Marjorie Stohler (2009), his two brothers, Hardy Stohler (2003) and Ralph Stohler (2009).  Surviving are his daughter, Connie and her husband Charles Stephens of Dunnellon, FL; grandchild, Pamela and her husband, Britton Gray, and a great grandson, Barrett Gray of McCordsville, IN.  Half brothers and sisters who survive are Annie Wilson, Doyle Stohler, and Theresa Jones of Anderson, IN; Rosemary Attaway of Markleville, IN, Don Stohler of Frankton, IN,  Beth Ann Cheney of Upland, IN and Ken Stohler of Bradenton, FL.  One half sister, Lois Pickett is deceased.

Frank was a successful traveling sales representative for educational text books and reading systems to the numerous school districts throughout Florida and Georgia for many years.  He was an entrepreneur who owned several businesses during his lifetime – an electrical business, and educational supply company and a print shop.  The family moved from Atlanta, GA to Dunnellon, FL in 2000.

He was a member of the Dunnellon First United Methodist Church.  The pastor, Rev. Eddie Fulford will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, in Tucker, GA.
