Helen F. Burdette, 98, died on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. She leaves behind her daughters, Dorothy Anderson(Clifford), Urbana, IL, Beverly Catlin(Warren), Ocala, FL; her sister, Gladys Corbley, Rantoul, IL; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Burdette, her son Russell Dale Burdette, her daughter, Mary Ellen Melum, her brothers, Robert Ingleman, Theron Ingleman and her two grandsons, Rusty and Tim

Helen was born in Champaign, IL to the late Rollie and Rena(McConnell) Ingleman on April 29, 1919. She moved in 1974  from Gifford, IL to Leesburg then to Pine Run in Ocala in 2002. Helen retired from Gifford Grade School as a cafeteria cook from 1951-1974. She was a member of Christ's Church of Marion County. Helen enjoyed crocheting especially “Doilies”. She was strong willed and a women of Faith who lived life to the fullest. “We Love you and we will miss you until we meet again”.

Memorial Services celebrating Helen’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Christ's Church of Marion County, 6880 SW 80th Street, Ocala, FL. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest by her late husband.
