Mr. Jerry E. Flick, 70, longtime resident of Dunnellon, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala.  A native of Warren, Ohio, he moved to this area in 1962, coming here from Indian Rocks Beach, FL.

A graduate of Dunnellon High School, Mr. Flick became a machinist, working for many years for Fabricated Metals.  He was a member of the “One Wing Low RC Flying Club”.  In addition to flying RC airplanes, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and for many years raced stock cars.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie Hudson Flick, son Michael Flick, daughter Michelle Strobel, brothers Don, Wayne and Darrell Flick, sisters Chris Crum and April Miller, 6 grandchildren, Kaitlin and Becca Strobel, Ashley and Madison Flick, and Daken and Lauren Barber, and his great-grandson Khi Mells.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Jenna Barber.
