BRANSON, Judy Mrs. Judy S. Branson, 77, of Ocala, passed away peacefully Monday, July 18, 2016, at Sylvia’s Hospice House. A native of San Diego, she moved to this area 10 years ago, coming here from Columbia, Illinois. Mrs. Branson was a retired Registered Nurse, where she specialized in oncology for over twenty years. In addition to her career in medicine, her “other career" was as that of the wife of a Baptist minister, where she tended to countless families and individuals over the years. In every role, Judy was a beacon of bright enthusiasm and a bearer of genuinely unconditional kindness. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Rev. Don Branson, her daughter Denise Walsh (Michael), her son Rusty Branson (Page), and her 3 grandsons, Matt Cook, Tucker Branson, and Sawyer Branson. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Branson at 2 PM Friday, July 22, 2016, at College Road Baptist Church, 5010 SW Hwy 200, Ocala, with Rev. Alan Cotney officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.
