Mahendar Singh

Mahendar Singh, 87, of Citrus Springs, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2019. He was born on July 9, 1932 in Guyana, South America. He married his loving wife Lynette Singh (Persaud) in 1958. He is survived by his five sons; Rajendra, Gopal, Vijay, Anand, and Darendra, five daughters-in-law; Anita, Darshani, Yina, Kumarie, and Deborah, eight grandchildren; Natasha, Priyanka, Chereka, Aashri, Deena, Ajay, Thrisna and Devanand, two great-grandchildren; Emily and Hailey, and two step-brothers Bhoop Singh and Mohan Lal. He is preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings, and wife. Special thanks to the staff at the Citrus Health and Rehabilitation Center for all of the attentive care in the last year of his life. A viewing will be held at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The funeral and cremation will be held at Roberts Funeral Home at 10am on Friday, September 27, 2019.
