Mary went home to our Lord on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 23, 2017.  She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and Friend to whoever knew her.  She and Chuck lived in Yankeetown for 47 years and owned and ran Yankeetown General Store for many years.  She was very active in her community and instrumental in getting the Saint Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church built in Inglis. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Charles Vorisek Sr. and her mother and father, Mary & John Conway, and two brothers, George and Rev. Laurence Conway.  She is survived by her twin sister, Margaret Mercure; her brother, Chuck Conway; her 7 children; Bernadette St John (Robert), Sylvia Langdon (Dave), Charles Vorisek Jr (Brenda), Laurence Vorisek (Michelle), Chris Vorisek (Tonya), Cindy Hinton (Doug), and Steve Vorisek (Sharon); 21 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church for the Vorisek Hall building fund, and should be mailed to 17353 NE HWY 27 Alt, Williston, FL 32696.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the St. Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church,6090 SE 193 Place, Inglis, FL 34449. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 5-7 PM with a rosary starting at 7PM at the St. Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church.
