Wolbert, Reyell. Rey passed away quietly at home at 6:38 am on October 25, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born in Afton, Wyoming on March 28, 1937. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nan Wolbert, his sons Scott Hart and Matthew Hart, and his granddaughter Haley Hart. Rey lived a full and happy life of service. His father, Frank Wolbert, was born in Samoa and was brought to Afton by missionaries to work in the farm area. There he met his wife, Lorna, and they had two sons, Rey and Kerry. Rey served for four years in the U.S. Army and National Guard. Rey began work as a janitor for Mountain Bell and worked his way up to Assistant Vice President in Denver, Co. He served “Ma Bell” for 31 years. Rey loved golf and spent his retirement years on the green and enjoying adventures with his wife in Dunnellon, Fl. Rey’s warmth and generosity touched everyone he met. He loved his friends, his family, and the Lord. A celebration of his life and service of remembrance will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 530 N. Main St. Williston, Fl. 32696, on November 6, 2017. Internment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Golf 4 the Disabled (www.golf4thedisabled.org). A charity that his wife helped found and that Rey passionately supported.
