After a life-long struggle with brain cancer, Trevor Skaggs passed away peacefully March 24, 2018 with his family at his bedside at Hospice House in Lecanto. He was born in Gainesville, FL on February 7, 1997 and was the son of Ashlie Lynch Skaggs and the late James David Skaggs. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Pam (Pansy) Burke of Tampa.

Trevor was born with NF1 (neurofibromatosis), a genetic disorder. He underwent many surgeries and made many trips to the hospital during his short life.
A memorial service for Trevor will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 3, at First Baptist Church of Dunnellon, Pastor Russ Randall officiating. The church is located at 20831 Powell Road.
