Our beloved cousin Alton was predeceased by his parents Carl Thurston &
Willie Eloise Hudson Brown; siblings Marjorie, Walter, Jesse
Dean; Paul Edward and Frances. He is survived by his beloved
wife Della Duncan Brown and her sister Ferrell, as well as his siblings
H.R.; W.Robert; Rose; John E., James L., David C., & Bartie Joe; as well as many loved nieces; nephews; and cousins by the dozens too numerous to name.

Alton was devoted to his family, his cats, and was a wonderful family historian who shared information willingly with all. He leaves many to mourn him. We hope we have not missed anyone, and if someone listed as surviving him has predeceased him our apologies.

He will be missed and will leave a very empty spot in our lives.
Our love and prayers go to all the family.

I would like to correct the previous post. Bartie Joe Brown was listed in error as predeceasing beloved brother Alton. Bertie Joe is still living.

I only knew Mr. Brown through his genealogical research and our shared ancestry, but I was sad to know of his passing. We should rejoice for him, however, for he was a kind and sharing correspondent and a generous friend to all researchers. He will be missed by many.
