Ashby H. White, 97, Dunnellon, died Friday, July 27, 2012 in Ocala, Florida. He was born in Broad Run, Virginia. He was a retired production manager of a processing plant and upon retirement he moved to Florida and later settled in Dunnellon.
He was a WWII veteran serving proudly with The United States Army. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his Family.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy, Dunnellon, Sons; Ashby Jr., North Florida, Howard, Noblesville, IN, Larry, Dunnellon, Ray, Dunnellon; Brothers: Wesley (Carol), Hawaii and Maurice (Vickie), Great Falls, VA; Sister: Helen (Carroll) Mayhugh, Warrenton, VA; Granddaughter Jennifer (Paul) Kell; and Great Grandsons Reese and Degan Kell.
Graveside services with full military honors are scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Fero Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Beverly Hills, FL with Rev. Eddie Fulford officiating.
