Daniel “Danny, Dan, Dan the Man” was born in St. Petersburg, FL on November 18, 1994. We lost Danny on February 1, 2024, at 29 years old in Tallahassee, FL. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, partner, boss, and friend. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the light he brought into our lives.

His laugh and personality filled any room he walked into, and he always made it his mission to make you smile and laugh. He had a passion for music and loved playing guitar. Danny had a heart of gold and was extremely loyal to his friends and family. His kindness and warmth touched everyone around him, leaving a lasting impact.

He is survived by his mother Lisa Chalke (Steve), father Gregory Wikholm (Sherrie), older sisters, Jessica Wikholm (Dawn), Kourtney Chalke (Mario) and Kate Chalke (Seth), his brother Elliot Wikholm (Morgan), grandparents Peter and Patricia Marklin, and Veronica Sitaras (his girlfriend of 6 years) and their two dogs Nova and Maya along with his aunts, uncles and cousin.

Dan attended Perkins Elementary, John Hopkins Middle, Shorecrest Preparatory School and went on earn a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in International Affairs. Every one of his teachers are sure to have a few fun memories of his educational journey. Thank you to all of you that sparked his curiosity along the way!

Dan found a second family while managing The Iron Daisy in Tallahassee where he pursued his love of culinary. He leaves behind Dharma Hadders, Jake Scott, along with the rest of his family at the “Daisy.” Danny was always there for those in need of a meal at the end of the night or the Friendsgiving meals for everyone.

Dan would want us to remember the good memories we made with him and make the most of our lives, no matter how difficult this may be. Remember him through your favorite music, cracking jokes, trying a new recipe, or enjoy Tampa Bay sports and FSU football.
