Dorothy Ann Kinnebrew

Dorothy Anne Kinnebrew, 84, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday March 26, 2024.

Ms. Kinnebrew was a resident of Dunnellon Square Mobile Home Village on Powell Road in Dunnellon. She was born March 23, 1940 in Jacksonville, FL but grew up in Dunnellon and was Valedictorian of the DHS class of 1957.

After graduation, she moved to Jacksonville where she had various jobs as an Administrative Assistant, the last being with the University of Florida Healthcare System and Shands Hospital. Upon retiring, she returned to Dunnellon to live.

Dorothy attended First Methodist Church in Dunnellon and volunteered for several years at the Community Thrift Store. She enjoyed playing bridge, TV mysteries, crossword puzzles, and going out with her girlfriends. She loved her family, her friends, and her gray cat Gracie.

Ms. Kinnebrew was preceded in death by her father Melvin Kinnebrew and her mother Chris Baker. She is survived by her brother Jim Kinnebrew, by two sisters—Patti Hall and Traci Ripple—and by nieces and nephews in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California.

A memorial service will be held at the Memory Garden of Dunnellon Presbyterian Church at a date to be announced.
