It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Alan Kimmons on January 30, 2024. Keith, born on July 30, 1972, was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, whose memory will forever remain in our hearts. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a commitment to service.
Keith is survived by his loving children, daughter Emmie Kimmons (Brad Cody) and son Jake Kimmons (Grace Pierson), both of whom he cherished dearly. He was the proud father who consistently strived to provide the best life possible for his children.
Bill and Chris Kimmons, Keith's father and mother and his sisters Angie Dunlap (Mark) and Katie Lemmon Maloney were instrumental figures in his life, nurturing him with love and guidance. Keith was preceded in death by Gracie Hope Kimmons, Keli Johnson Kimmons, and Cam Lemmon.
Keith's commitment to service extended beyond his family. He retired after dedicating 20 years of his life to the United States Coast Guard, where he exemplified the values of honor, courage, and commitment. Keith earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Rasmussen University.
One of Keith's most profound passions was his love for animals. He devoted significant time to volunteering and caring for animals. Keith was a vibrant and caring individual who always sought to infuse joy into every aspect of his life. He found happiness in simple pleasures like fishing and spending time at the beach with his dog, Marley.
His memory will forever be associated with the laughter, love, and cherished moments he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. Keith Alan Kimmons was a remarkable soul who touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark of kindness and positivity. As we bid farewell to a loving father, son, and friend, we hold onto the beautiful memories he created and the love he generously bestowed upon us all.
