Alexander Michael Kozlov

Alexander “Alex” Michael Kozlov, 19, of Dunnellon, went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 7, 2020.  Alex was a native of Marion County and spent his entire life in Dunnellon.  He was a graduate of Dunnellon High School where he played football for the “Fighting Tigers,” was on the weightlifting team, and was a member of the robotics club.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon.  Alex will be fondly remembered for his loving hugs to everyone.

            He is survived by his parents Jennifer and Jimmy Nemetch, sisters Millie and Maisie, his grandparents Coach Johnny and Linda Jones, and Liz Martynowski.  He is also survived by his uncles Brandon (AJ), John, JJ (Holly), aunts Mary Beth (Tom), Mavin (Adam), and Martha (Dave), 12 cousins, and a host of friends and family.

            Memorial services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon, with Pastor Eddie Fulford officiating.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Dunnellon High School,  10055 SW 180 Avenue Road, Dunnellon, FL 34432. Please note on your check that the donation is in memory of Alex Kozlov.  All donations will be divided equally between the football and robotics programs.
