Dorothy Yanichick, 90, of Ocala, passed away Thursday, at her residence with her Family by her side. She was born in Maria, PA, was a homemaker and moved to Ocala in 1980 from Somerville, NJ.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, brain teasers, all kinds of puzzles, housekeeping; most importantly, she cherished quality time with her Family and Friends.
Survivors include her daughter: Betty Johns, Hillsborough, NJ; Son: Wayne (Debbie) Yanichick, Ocala; Sister: Violet Swinsburg, Bath, PA; Brother: James (Doris) Shearer, Ocala; Grandchildren: Cindy (Mike) York and Garrett (Jenna) Douglas; Great Grandchildren: Taylor York and Camden Douglas; Special Family Member: Katelyn Wood. Mrs. Yanichick was predeceased by her husband Joseph “Buck” Yanichick and grandson Damien DeMartz.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala with George Douglas officiating.
