Maria Hayward

Maria Grace Hayward, 85 of Citrus Springs, FL passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 9, 2019.

Maria was born in Boston, MA September of 1934 to Angelina (DeMinico) Chioccola and Armand Chioccola.  At the time of her death she was the widowed wife of Roger B. Hayward. 

Maria is survived by her brother Richard Chioccola from Connecticut. Maria had three children, Kathy (Losh) McCormick, wife of Donald McCormick from Florida, Herbert (Bud) Losh from North Carolina, Gina Maria Iovine, wife of Joseph Iovine from Florida.  Maria was blessed to have five grandsons, Justin Losh, Florida, Dana McCormick, Texas, Steven Wright, Florida, Alex Losh, North Carolina, Nicholas McCormick, Florida.  She is also survived by two great granddaughters, Jocelyn Oberkirch, Vermont and Ashlin Caldwell, Texas, three great  grandsons, Devon and Ethan Losh, Florida, and Soren Oliver Wright, also of Florida,  all of which she loved beyond words.

Maria moved from Tewksbury, Ma. In 1994 with her husband Roger, having lived there for 32 yrs. She working in the field of Hospitality, hotels and restaurants, seamstress as a young women in MA, and also appointment coordinator at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA.

Maria’s greatest joys were her family and friends, especially her church, where she worked the food pantry, alter guild and ushering.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that a donation in her name be made to the food pantry of Holy Faith Episcopal Church, Dunnellon, FL

so that others can be helped in their time of need.
