Adeline Fuller

ADELINE M. FULLER, 93, died Monday, February 20, 2012.  She was born August 6, 1918 in Bay Shore, New York and moved to Ocala, Florida in 2004 from Long Island, New York.

Adeline was a therapy aide in a Bay Shore Hospital.  She was a member of the Ocala West United Methodist Church.  She was a 65-year member of the VFW Post #4781, Bay Shore Methodist Church Food Pantry, and Historical Society, all of Bayshore, New York.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, canning fruits and vegetables, making homemade wine, visiting and speaking to elementary students about her life experiences, and volunteering to entertain patients at hospitals as well as spending quality time with her family.

Survivors include daughters Jane Geant, Ocala, FL and Bernadette Nelson, Tupperlake NY; brother Harold Overton, Long Island, NY; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Ocala West United Methodist Church with Rev. Lessie Reiman officiating.
