Albert (Pit) Michaud of Dunnellon, FL and formerly of Salem, MA, son of the late Alfred and Lena (Levesque) Michaud entered into eternal rest from an extended illness on April 11, 2016.

Known to most as “Pit” he attended schools in Salem, MA and proudly served in the US Army from 1957-1961 then in the US Army reserves from 1961-1964.

Pit was employed by the former Lynn Sand and Stone for many years.

Upon Retirement Pit fulfilled a long time dream of building his Florida home where he happily spent his final years. He also served with the volunteer fire dept. in Dunnellon, Station #14.

He is survived by two sons, Michael and his wife Jen, Randy and his wife Maryann; his three grandchildren, Ruby, Jade and Riley; his three sisters, Joanne and her husband James Vining, Linda Daly and Pauline Call; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special cousin, Roger Poitras and many wonderful friends who were greatly helpful.

Funeral Services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be held on the same day one hour prior to service time. Burial will take place at the Oakdale Cemetery in Middleton MA.
