Alberta "Bert" Faye (Steele) Roberts

Dunnellon- Alberta “Bert” Roberts, 74, who loved God and her family, died on June 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 15, 1946 in Troy, Ohio, and was the daughter to the late Roy and Arlie (McCullough) Steele. She worked for Westinghouse for fourteen years in Union City, Indiana. In 1989, Alberta moved to Dunnellon from Morristown, Indiana and started working for Fancy Pantry restaurant and then worked for Food Ranch grocery store as a produce manager for years in Inglis,FL, where she met her husband, Wayne Honaker. She enjoyed family get-togethers, she also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, nature, camping, fishing, and going to the mountains of North Carolina, West Virginia and Tennessee. Mom was an avid NASCAR and football fan.

She leaves behind her husband of thirty years, Wayne Honaker, Dunnellon, FL; her daughter, Corrina Tracy, Richmond Indiana; her sons Herb Roberts, Japan,  Eddie Roberts , Union City, OH and Rick Honaker of Belleview ,FL; her brothers, Roy Steele (Sharon), Huber Heights, OH, Donnie Steele (Vickie)West Milton, OH and John Steele, Ludlow Falls, OH; her sisters, Carolyn Braumbaugh (Richard), Greenville, OH, Sonda Miller (Tony), Hollansburg, OH; her grandchildren, Jessica Beck (Nathan), Sarah Tracy, Grace Tracy, Rick , Brittany and Zachary Honaker; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Fayelynn and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date in the Hale-Sarber Funeral Home in West Milton, OH.
