Alexis Tucker

Heaven opened its doors to Alexis Tucker, age 59, the morning of Wednesday, January 31, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.  In September of 2002, Alexis married an amazing man, Douglas Tucker, who kept her safe, loved and happy since they began dating 28 years ago.  They made a beautiful home together in Florida.  Alexis leaves behind her son, James Whittlesey, with Fiancé, Sara Jenike, and 5 grandchildren of New Hampshire who filled her with love, made her proud and kept her VERY busy.

Also in Citrus Springs is Alexis's Mom, Suzanne Olex.  She and Alexis spent so much time together, from Tai Chi gatherings, Consignment Shopping and creating pieces of art to sell at local craft shows.

Alexis has a brother, Mark Arenberg of New Hampshire and sister, Lisa Hazelton (Tom) of Connecticut who she loved and spoke to often.  A text might go out “you have a couple minutes to talk”?  The reply was usually, “yes”, and the phone call would last hours.

Alexis also has many Tucker, Arenberg and Whittlesey nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.  She was predeceased by her Father, Norman Arenberg and Stepfather, Robert Olex.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 13th at 11:30 – 2:30 pm at the Tucker home:  9761 North Loretta Way, Citrus Springs, FL
