Citrus Springs- Alice Lillian Gillette, 84, died on June 28, 2024 at her residence in Citrus Springs, FL. She was born on June 24, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter to the late Joseph and Lillian (Lando) Park. Alice moved to Citrus Springs in 2010 from Pennsylvania. She worked for Bell Telephone Company for eighteen years and then retired after thirty three years with the North Penn District School System as a Bus Driver in Lansdale, PA. Alice also served our country with the United States Army. While living in Citrus Springs, Alice and her husband, Alfred would cook and help in the Kitchen every Monday at the Inglis Masonic Lodge #324 until her health started to decline. She also loved to do arts and crafts, but most importantly , she loved to worship her Lord and Savior at the First Methodist Church in Dunnellon where she will be dearly missed.
Alice is preceded in death by her son, David Gillette and her brother, Robert Park and her sister, Christina Park.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of fifty three years, Alfred Gillette; her sisters, Edna Daley and her husband, John and Martha Jean Spero and her husband, Richie; her grandchildren, Sara Jones, Allison Gillette, Thomas Laub; her great grandchildren, Kaytlynn Jones, Thomas Laub, Exon Laub, Zoe Gillette, Nathan Laub and her great great grandchild, Nolan Faust.
Memorial services celebrating Alice’s life will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 12noon at the First Methodist Church in Dunnellon.
