Alice Jo (Millen) Powell

Alice Jo Powell, 86, of Ocala, passed away at the Legacy Hospice House on Monday (3/31). She was born November 13, 1927 in Punta Gorda, Florida and then raised in Sarasota, Florida. She was a homemaker and excelled in all of her life challenges, as a mother, businesswoman, and making her favorite crafts, a ministry to those who loved her.

She was predeceased by her parents and her daughter Lisa Powell-Stearman. Surviving family includes her loving son Scot Powell and his fiancee Donna Peavy of Ocala; four grandsons; one great grandchild and a second great grandchild soon to be delivered; and  the Peavy's of Marion County, her adopted family.

A Memorial Funeral Service, celebrating the Life of Alice Jo Powell, will be celebrated on Tuesday (4/8) 11:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel (352-489-2429), 19939 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon. Pastor Tommy Dennis, Bread of Life of Ocala, will officiate.

Alice Jo Powell was an avid Florida Gator fan who loved the Lord.
