Dunnellon-  E. Aline A. McLaughlin, age 94, passed away on December 15, 2017, in Ocala, FL.  She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas K. and Laura G. Apgar; brother, S. Gordon Apgar; sister, Madelyn Frazier; and husband, Richard J. McLaughlin, Sr.  She is survived by her children, Laura M. Lyle (James) of The Villages, FL; Joan Seastead (Dennis) of Orange Park, FL; and Richard J. McLaughlin, Jr. (Valli) of Dunnellon, FL; three grandsons John (Kim) of Jacksonville, FL; Joshua (Paranee) of San Francisco, CA; and Richard (Emily) of Syracuse, NY; and granddaughter Alison (Chris) of Clermont, FL; three great-grandsons Drake, Beckham, and Oliver, and great-granddaughter Juliet; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She has resided for the last thirteen years in The Villages, Dunnellon, and Ocala, FL.  Prior to that, she resided in Viera before retiring and moving to Pensacola, Denver, and Southwest Ranches to be with her children.  She was born in Daytona Beach, FL, in 1923, and later moved to Orlando where she was married.  She and her husband moved to Brevard County and lived in Cocoa and Rockledge for some 45+ years.  She was active in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockledge and was the first secretary of St. Mary’s School for six years before moving to Lakeland and then back to Rockledge.  She co-purchased Village Realty of Brevard in 1982, where she was a Real Estate Broker, president of the company, and a member of the Brevard Board of Realtors.
