Alyce Smith

Miss Alyce Smith, 90, of Citrus Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Avante of Inverness.  She was a native of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and more recently a resident of Citrus County.  She retired after many years in the grocery industry, and was a member of the Lutheran Faith.  She belonged to the Lutheran Church in Chiefland before moving to Citrus Springs in 2003 from Bronson.
Miss Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Casper and Pauline Aschenbrenner Smith, her brothers Elmer Smith, John H., Edward and Robert A. Schnell, her sister Pauline Smith Schnell.  Her survivors include her sister Ruth Todd, Citrus Springs, Alvina Schnell, Plant City, and Janice “Judy” Jenkins, Ft. Langley, B.C., Canada, her nephews, Robert E. Schnell, Michael R. Todd, Mark A. Todd, Edward Shnell, Dan Schnell, J. B. Schnell, Douglas Schnell, Jim Jenkins, and her nieces Vanessa Schnell McAllister, Pamel Schnell, and Jennifer Jenkins.
Funeral services for Miss Smith will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon.  She will be interred at Forest Meadows Memorial Park West in Alachua County.
