Andrew "Andy" J. Ziray

Dunnellon, Rainbow Springs- Andrew “Andy” Ziray, 97, died Friday on July 27, 2018.  He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Patricia Ziray, Dunnellon; his son Andrew Ziray, Jr., and his wife, Brenda of New Jersey; his daughters, Carol Walls and her husband, Ed of Pennsylvania and Lory Ziray of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Andrew,III, Michael, Kiersten, Jenna, Ero, Kaitlynn, Branden; his many great grandchildren and  many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Desmond and George Ziray and his sister, Dorothy Lattanzi.

Andy was born January 8, 1921 in Essex Fells, NJ. He was the son to the late George and Lydia (Horvath) Ziray. He was self employed as a building contractor with Ziray Homes in New Jersey. Following retirement thirty five years ago he moved to Dunnellon and enjoyed golfing and bird hunting. He was a veteran of WWII with the United States Coast Guard serving on the USS Bibb. Andy was a former member of the Kiwanis Club and the Rainbow Springs Country Club in Dunnellon.
