Angela "Felita" Sola

Angela “Felita” Sola’, 84, of Dunnellon Florida, passed away on July 29, 2026.

 The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. Fr. Ramon Bolatete of St. John’s will be officiating. Repast to follow in the church hall followed by burial at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens at 2:00pm.

Felita was born in Aguada, P.R. on March 7, 1942. She was married to Manuel Sola’ on June 25, 1958; they were married 64 years.

Felita was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for her family as a stay-at-home mom, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Her home was filled with love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Felita found great joy taking care of her many birds and being in her garden, where she lovingly nurtured her flowers and plants with the same care she gave to her family. Felita was actively involved at St. John the Baptist for many years. She was a Minister to the Sick, Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, and sung in the Choir.

She was involved with the Cursillo Movement, retreats and many other ministries. Felita is survived by her 7 children, 31 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter and other family and friends.

Felita is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Sola’.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. John the Baptist, 7525 S US Hwy 41, Dunnellon, FL 34432.
