Anna Mae Groffinger
November 26, 1917 — July 31, 2016
Mrs. Anna Mae Groffinger, 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at her home in Dunnellon. Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, she and her late husband retired and moved to Florida in 1973. For many years she remained active in various local organizations, including the American Legion Auxiliary, the Dunnellon Garden club, and the Rainbow Glass Collectors Club in Ocala. She was a member of the former Rainbow Lakes Estates United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Groffinger was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband and best friend of 68 years, Albert Groffinger. She is survived by her nieces Kathleen (Glenn) Ritz, and Karen Bordt, as well as her nephew Richard Kravarik.
