Armand I. Briere, 80, of Dunnellon went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday (4/2/2014) at the Legacy Hospice House in Ocala. He was born June 26, 1933 in St. Theresa, Canada to the late Joseph and Virginia (Belise) Briere.
Mr. Briere worked on the automotive assembly Line with General Motors for over twenty six years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon.
Surviving family includes his wife Micheline A. Briere of Dunnellon; son Armand Jean Briere of Severville Tennessee; daughters Pauline Whipple of Putnam, CT., Melody Belliview of Southbridge, Massachusetts, and Jean Marie Burnham of Brimfield, Massachusetts; brothers Louie, Claude, and Lucien Briere; sister Simmone Cusson; Eighteen Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service, celebrating the life of Armand I. Briere will be conducted on Friday (4/4/2014) 4:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (352-489-2429), 19939 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon. Father Kevin MacGabhann, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Dunnellon, will officiate.
