Mrs. Audrey M. Paczolt, 89, of Dunnellon, passed away Christmas morning in Ocala. A native of Washington, DC, she retired from the Department of Defense. She and her husband moved to the Dunnellon area in 1995, coming here from Tampa. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. During WWII, Mrs. Paczolt worked for the Office of Strategic Services, America’s First Intelligence Agency, which was a precursor of the CIA. Her survivors include her son Michael and his wife Lynette, her nephew Larry Smith, her 2 grandchildren, Brannon and Meghan (Chris), and 1 great niece. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Stephen Paczolt in 2000, her son Stephen F. Paczolt, and her two sisters, Louise and Mary. A Memorial Mass will be held for Mrs. Paczolt at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala.
