Audrey Doris (Gould) Eddy

Dunnellon

Mrs. Audrey D. Eddy, 91, longtime resident of Dunnellon, passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 30, 2018.  A native of South New Berlin, NY, she and her family moved to Dunnellon in 1957.  Mrs. Eddy was a registered nurse, having worked for many years at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, and later at a local doctor’s office.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and First Presbyterian Church of Dunnellon.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Charles Eddy, her son Thomas Eddy, three daughters, Charlene Gorski, Susan Bakowski, and Tracy Gates, two sisters Barbara Letson and Arlene Ingersoll, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Gerald Eddy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eddy will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Jeffrey Welch officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time.  Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon LLC, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon.
