B. Joy Chancey

B. Joy Chancey, 88, died on Friday, May 22, 2015 in Trenton, FL. She was born on January 13, 1927 in Collingdale, PA. Joy was the daughter to the late Philip and Beulah (Ramsey) Royle.

Joy moved to this area in 1972 from St. Petersburgh, FL after a lengthy career of over fifty years as a registered nurse up until her retirement with the Citrus Memorial Hospital specializing in newborn babies. She was a life member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith.

She is predeceased by her husband of 62yrs., David R. Chancey and her son Philip E. Chancey.

Joy leaves behind her sons, Dale R. Chancey and his wife Ched, Ponce De Leon, FL, James R. Chancey and his wife Melissa, Bennington, VT; her daughter, Amy Chancey, Dunnellon; her two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family prefers in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast: 3280 W. Audubon Park Park Path, Lecanto, FL 34461.

Funeral Services celebrating Joy's life will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon with burial to follow at Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa.
