Barbara J. (Peters) Laritz
June 10, 1940 — April 13, 2017
Mrs. Barbara J. Laritz, 76, of Dunnellon, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at her residence.
A native of Mercedes, Texas, she and her husband moved to Dunnellon in 1993, coming here from Texas. She retired as a director for the Department of Human Services for the State of Texas. She was also a member of the Does of the Inverness Elks Lodge, as well as the Dunnellon Women’s Club.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Charles “Mike” Laritz, her son James “Kevin” Miller, her daughter Alicia Starr, her brother James B. Peters, her sister, Paula Daniels, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Michael William Miller and her daughter Carlen Higginbotham.
Memorial services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon.
