Benedict Peter Kiaunis

Benedict Peter Kiaunis,77, retired Engineer with Building Utilities died February 26, 2013 in Lecanto, FL. He was the son to the late Benedict and Caroline (Karachka). He was  born on June 29, 1935 in Chicago, IL. In 1955 he joined the US Army and served our country  until 1963. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.  Benedict  moved to Citrus Springs in 1997 from Chicago. He was a Christian Catholic who truly loved his savior. We love and miss you until we meet again.
Benedict is preceded in death by his wife Martha.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Chlapecka and her husband Robert of Citrus Springs, FL; his son, Benedict Kiaunis and his wife Ellie of Marsielles, IL; his daughter, Mary Sumrall and her husband, Tommy of DeFuniak Springs, FL; his daughter, Vickie Clark of DeFuniak Springs, FL; his stepson, Robert Cesak and his wife Kim of Chicago, IL; nine grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon, FL with a viewing held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell,FL.
