Bomba, Bernadine 72, of Dunnellon, passed away on Thursday (11/14/2013). She was born May 31, 1941 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Bernard L. and Helen (Szostek) Urban. Mrs.  Bomba was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded by her parents; stepfather John P. Urban; and brother Thomas J. Urban Sr. Surviving family includes her husband of fifty three years Andrew J. Bomba of Dunnellon; children Susan M. Casey of Trinity, Florida, Andrew J. Bomba Jr. and wife Holly H. Brinton of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, and Anthony B. Bomba and wife Jean of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Erich A. Casey, Tyler J. and Megan E. Bomba; step grandchildren Ryan Marroquin and Samantha H. Brinton; sister Shirley, widow of George Duris and Eugene Urban; and Sharon, wife of James Ortag, all of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; and John Urban Jr. of Manheim, Pennsylvania.

“Bernie” was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed playing dominoes, crossword puzzles, and reading.

A Memorial Funeral Service, celebrating the life of Bernadine L. Bomba, will be conducted on Tuesday (11/19/2013) 11:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel, 19939 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon (352-489-2429). Father Kevin MacGabhann, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Dunnellon, officiating.
