Beulah Wood

Mrs. Beulah Wood, 88, of Dunnellon, FL, died peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Life Care Center of Citrus County in Lecanto.

Born in Zephyrhills, FL, she and her husband spent 25 years in Tennessee and then retired to Dunnellon 20 years ago.  For many years she was a member of Lake Rousseau Baptist Church where she loved to worship.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John D. Wood, four daughters, Barbara Lynn Smith, Karen Bernice Salmen, Melony Bates, and Rene McNeal, her son Joe Wood, her sister Bernice Bright, her four brothers Chester, Lucky, Zack and Doc Arnold, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son David Wood.

Memorial services for Mrs. Wood will be held at 10 AM Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Robert Funeral Home of Dunnellon LLC, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, FL, with Rev. Joe Schroder officiating.
