Bobby Gene O'Neal

Ocala- Bobby Gene O’Neal, 78, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Ocala, FL. He was born and raised in Mims, FL. Bobby retired with Walt Disney World as a Heavy Equipment Operator and moved to Ocala in 2005. He was a member of the Landmark Apostolic Church in Williston, FL. Bobby enjoyed fishing, tinkering in the yard and restoring antique cars. Bobby was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his grandbaby’s and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his two sisters.

Bobby leaves behind his wife of fifty-five years, Bonita C. O’Neal, Ocala, FL; his sons, Byron Lowell O’Neal, Sr.(Bonnie), Ocala, FL ,Thomas Franklin O’Neal (Michelle), Ocala, FL; his brothers, Curtis O’Neal, GA and Andrew O’Neal, SC; his grandchildren, Byron Lowell O’Neal, Jr. and Monica Cara’line O’Neal and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Deese, Pat Walker, Thomas Berkley Asbury, Byron O’Neal,Sr., Thomas Franklin O’Neal, Daniel Strickland and Honorary Pallbearer, Byron Lowell O’Neal, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Landmark Apostolic Church, 525 SE 3rd Ave., Williston,FL 32696. There will be a public viewing held at the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will be held at Ft. Christmas Cemetery in Christmas, FL at 3:30 PM.
