Brenda Mae Lewis

Brenda Mae Lewis, 74, of Summerfield, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, January 5, 2026. Born in Rising Sun, Indiana, she later moved to Summerfield in South Marion County, Florida. Professionally she was a medical lab technician, but her greatest joy was working with Operation Shoebox in Belleview, FL, where they prepared “care packages” for our military troops.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary Lewis, and one brother. She is survived by her daughter Sandy Moore, and her two grandchildren, Alex Kelley of Lakeland and Emily Kelley of Summerfield.

Services are pending at this time but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
