Mangum, Evelyn (officially Cora Evelyn) She was born December 12,1926, to Clinton H. and Bessie Sessions in Kalamazoo Michigan, and died February 1, 2015. In Kalamazoo she finished high school and 1 year of college before moving to Tennessee with her family. She was married to Charles Edwin Mangum in 1945. Because her husband was either in the military service or in the ministry, they lived in numerous states before moving to Dunnellon, Florida in 1975. She had worked at various jobs including meat cutter, cashier, Draft Board clerk, and Social Security Service Representative. During all of her working years and throughout her retirement, her first passion was to share the good news of God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, her personal savior, Lord and friend. Her other interests in life included painting pictures, chalk art, crocheting, playing piano, organ or accordion (at home and in church), singing with her husband, studying and teaching Bible, reading, and writing. She is survived by one son (Charles) Earl Mangum and his wife Virginia of Maryland, six sisters, Betty Wilson, Kathleen Hamilton, and Elsie Smith all of Georgia, and Shirley Duncan, Ann Norris, and Sharon Morgan all of Tennessee, and one brother Clinton H. Sessions, Jr. of Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Hosea Sessions.
