Carol A. (Halpin) Spooner

Dunnellon - Carol Ann Spooner (Halpin), 74 of Dunnellon, Florida and formerly of Philadelphia,Pennsylvania, died on March 7th, 2016 after a brief illness.

She was preceded by her son, John Michael and brother,Joseph. She is survived by her loving husband, W. Perry Spooner; her daughters, Kerry O'Sullivan (Torn), Michele O'Sullivan (Mike) and Robin Stiglitz; her grandchildren, Breanne, Emma, Abigail and
Danielle; her favorite sister in law, Gail and niece, Jennifer.

In life, she was active in the
Dunnellon area thrift and antique scene where she was a merchant of numerous community thrift stores. Her true passion, and what she will be most remembered by, was her love of animals in need. Overthe course of her life, she is credited with saving scores of abandoned dogs and cats. Carol Ann was dearly loved by her family and friends, and will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
