Carol May Pelkey, 77, died on August 21, 2017 at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala. She leaves behind her son, Timothy Pelkey, Orlando, FL; her daughter, Deborah Daniels, Orlando, FL; her brother, William Taylor(Sue) Syracuse, NY; her sister, Mary Congel(Frank),Virginia and Dorothy Remonda(Ronnie), Dunnellon, FL; her grandchildren, Valerie, Cory, Brittany, Mikell and her great grandchildren, Zachery and Allison.
Carol was born into this life on May 26, 1940 in Syracuse, NY. Carol and her late husband Jack moved to Dunnellon in 1986 from NY. She worked in Home Health and at several different nursing homes. She enjoyed gambling, particularly “Scratch offs”, collecting stuffed bears, wolves and would take in any stray animal that came across. She will be greatly loved and missed by all her family.
Memorial Services celebrating Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel.
