Carol Ann (Ploenzke) Rust

Carol Ann Rust, 85, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Citrus Springs, FL. She was born on June 10, 1939 in  the township of Newton,Wisconsin. She was the daughter to the late, Ernest and Mabel (Ebert) Ploenzke. Carol lived most of her life in California and Arizona. She retired as an admitting clerk with El Camino Hospital in northern California.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed sitting and soaking up the sunshine, watching nature and gardening.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Rust and her brother Eugene Ploenzke.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Debbie Ryan, Sunnyvale, CA, Deejay McNamara, Citrus Springs, FL, and Dawn Marie Boerio, Phoenix, AZ; her sisters, Judy Pingle, WI and Sandra Heifner, CA.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held at a later date in California.
