CAROL A. SLIMM, age 72 of Ocala, precious wife of Don, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 25, 2011. Through her music and faith in the Lord, she did not let life’s hardships keep her down. Her life was a true blessing to all who knew her. Carol was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church, choir member and (3) Bell Choirs and director of the On Top Of The World Chorus. Music was her life. She was a licensed realtor with Coldwell Banker and will be fondly missed by all. Her survivors include her husband of 54 years, Don, daughters, Debbie (Tedd) Nettleton of California and Doreen (Paul) Deal of New Jersey, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. from the Ocala West United Methodist Church in Ocala. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Hospice of Marion County. Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon is in charge of arrangements.
