Carole Scaccianoce was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 14, 1934. After Spending 16yrs in Brooklyn, she finished her Senior year in NJ and attended Montclair State College with a B.A. and teaching degree. Upon graduation, she began teaching at Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, NJ and was there for thirty five years. During this time she went back to college and earned a Masters in guidance and counseling at Seton Hall University.

Carole and her husband, Angelo were co-owners and managers of a small bakery in NJ for 12yrs. When Angelo began to battle a number of health issues they moved to Florida settling in Rainbow Springs in 1990.

Carole Scaccianoce was a devoted member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church of Dunnellon. She served as President of the Women’s group, member of the Vestry and was Office Manager of the church for 10yrs. She also at one time edited “Faithfully Yours” the church newsletter published monthly.

As an excellent cook, Carole did all the prepping and cooking for the annual Oktoberfest as well as often treating us with her famous minestrone soup. Carole Kept in touch with her students and on several occasions attended reunions in New Jersey and even had scheduled lunches with those who lived near in Florida. Carole loved to play cards and did not let anything interfere with her “Tuesday” card day. She will be surely missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memories are her step-daughter, Grace Dixon and her niece, Susan McNeill. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at Holy Faith Episcopal Church in Dunnellon. There will be a visitation held on the same day from 8:30 am until 10:30am at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon. Following the services there will be a light reception in the church hall. Entombment will be at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens at 2pm.
