OBITUARY

It is with great sadness we announce the death of my wife, our mother and  grandmother, Caroline L. Teets, 80, who slipped peacefully into eternal life on June 12, 2017 at home  beside her  husband, Don Teets. Also it is with great joy to know Caroline is with Jesus our Lord and Savior. Besides her husband, Don, she leaves behind her son, Emanuel (Ruth) Makestas and their children, Nichole and Christopher Makestas; her daughter, Seva Walker and her children, Ashley (Roy) Sprathin, Trevis Walker and Savanna Walker; her stepson, Kim (Sandy) Stone.  Caroline is preceded in death by her brother, Desmond Bethel.

Caroline was born May 27, 1937 in Abaco, Bahama. She was the daughter to the  late Donovan and Seva Jannett(Russell) Bethel. She grew up in Hopetown, Bahama attending a little island one room school. Being an islander she grew a love for cooking especially  any type of seafood, as her family would put it she was a “Novice Food Network Star”.

Caroline and her husband Don made their home in Dunnellon eighteen years ago coming from south Florida.  They enjoyed spending quality time with each other and their family. “We love you and we will miss you until we meet again”.
