Carolyn Sparks

Dunnellon

Carolyn Rosemary Sparks (Schrimpf), age 77 of Dunnellon, Florida, went to be with her Lord June 25, 2023 in Spring Hill, Fl  after attending her beloved church, Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Our beautiful mother was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 27, 1946.  Rosemary grew up very poor in the ghettos of Chicago. Her dad passed away when she was 6 years old. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour at the age of 8 years old which changed her whole life. A church bus from A. W. Tozer's church in Chicago came to her house to take them to church.  She learned about God and how He loved her even though she was very poor and fatherless. Growing up with a loving, Heavenly Father helped her very difficult life and gave it purpose and meaning. Our mother's life proves that God is real and loves every person, even the poorest people. Rosemary wrote her life story, which she would love for everyone to read, called BEAUTIFUL TEARS which you can purchase online on Amazon.

She met our beloved father, (who entered eternal life in Heaven last August 26, 2022), at a friend's house and married him November 21, 1964. They lived in Illinois until 1987 when Arthur decided he had enough of cold weather and moved the family to Florida.

Rosemary started a day care with Arthur in Vero Beach, FL and then taught kindergarten for many years. She loved to teach and was an amazing teacher!

She didn't just teach in the classroom. Rosemary enthusiastically bestowed her talents, time, and patience to her grandkids during each and every visit. Grandma believed they could do anything and worked to help/teach them achieve it.

Rosemary loved her family with every fiber of her being! She demonstrated that to each one of her children every chance she had in word and deed. There is absolutely no doubt that she was the  virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 as her children are all praising her!  (Proverbs 31:28)

One way she demonstrated her love was in prayer faithfully and fervently lifting up her children to Jehovah God. It was not uncommon for her to fast for days and sometimes weeks burdened for her children. She was such a prayer warrior!  When someone said they would sue the family business,  Rosemary gathered her children and asked God for help. The person was never heard from again; it never came to pass!  God had answered our prayer!  God is real! We saw evidence of that through our mother's life through her answered prayer.

Carolyn Rosemary Sparks was preceded in death by her dear husband, Arthur Sparks, her son Frank Sparks, her sisters Helen and Grace and brother Ralph.

Rosemary is survived by 7 children, 23 grandkids and 1 beautiful great grandchild.

To her dear friends, from Cornerstone Baptist Church, we send a very grateful thank you for your love and care for our dear mother.  She loved you all very much.  Thank you for loving her and caring for her so diligently.

To her many friends at High Point, we send a loving thank you for your sweet love and kindness to our beloved mother.

Rosemary's last wish would be that all could hear the Gospel of her Loving Heavenly Father.  John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of mankind.  Isaiah 53:5  " But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  and the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. " No matter what a person has done, God is able forgive you! Psalm 86:5 " For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee."  So Christ's payment for our sin actually pays all our sin debt so we do not have to go to hell and pay for our sins ourselves, but we can have a home in HEAVEN with God.  Acts 4:12 " Neither is there salvation in any other:  for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." And Ephesians 2: 8,9 " For by grace are ye saved through faith;  and that not of yourselves:   it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Finally,  Mom would encourage us and remind us what Jesus said in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also."

Carolyn Rosemary Sparks is now in Heaven with her beloved husband, Arthur Sparks, his mother, and her dear son, Frank Sparks.  Most of all, she is with Jesus Christ her Saviour and her loving Heavenly Father.  AMEN.
