Carson Cade Sherrod, 33, died on May 28, 2026 at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL after battling cancer. He was born into this life to Christopher and Deborah (Delk) Sherrod in Kissimmee, FL. Carson was raised in St. Cloud, FL and graduated from Harmony High School in 2011 and attended Minot College in North Dakota.

Carson moved to Dunnellon FL and worked in the construction industry where he wore many different hats as a project manager with Habitat for Humanity.

He enjoyed being in the outdoor’s spending time fishing. He was very artistic and enjoyed woodworking. Carson loved life to the fullest and always had a smile for those he met along the way. He was a former member of Spring of Life Methodist Church in Lake Nona, FL. His memories will continue to live on in the hearts of many friends and family members he touched throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and aunt.

Those left to cherish memories of him are his fiancé Jewel Newman, parents, Christopher and Deborah Sherrod, paternal grandmother, Lula Revis; uncle, Keith Sherrod (Melanie); aunts, Kay Campbell, Connie Gould Barnes and Sunni Smith (James) and numerous cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Carson’s life will be held on Friday June 12, 2026 at Dunnellon Community Church and Cheers Restaurant 19330. SW 83rd Pl Rd Dunnellon, FL time of service 11:00 am.
