Cassia M. Oliveira, 74, died on Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born into this life on March 23, 1941 in Sao Christovao, Brazil to the late Luiz and Maria Da Silva. Cassia moved to this area seven years ago from Westchester, PA after her husband's retirement from Boeing.
Cassia was a wonderful mother, grandmother (Vovo as she was known to her grandchildren), and wife. She was an affectionate, adventurous, appreciative but most of all one of a kind funny lady. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and as Louie says she would let you know what to do. Vovo had a love for the outdoors, fishing, boating, traveling but anyone that knew her would know gardening was her true passion. Just drive by her house, and you would see the picturesque garden filled with yellow roses and white lilies which were her favorite. At any time you could come by and see her beautiful hands in the dirt. Vovo had a spot in her heart for all animals, especially her beloved Oreo who spent nineteen years of his life with her and Louie and now Maximus “Max”. You could hear her yelling “Max! Max! Max!” around the yard. Vovo will be missed by all she touched.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Luiz Oliveira, Dunnellon; her son, Anthony Abouelhosn, Lake Mary, FL; her daughters, Aida Abouelhosn, Oveido, FL, Abul Hosn Samia, Millenium, FL and Katia Juarez, Plano, TX; her stepchildren, Christina de Oliveira, Regina Percy and Sergio de Oliveira; her brother, Christovao Da Silva, Brazil; her sisters, Iza Maria Da Silva, Valeria Amad, Ieda Tojal, Luiza Da Silva, Angelica Tores and Virginia Da Silva all of Brazil; her grandchildren, Reema, Rami, Omar, Nadia, Alex, Aidan, Ethan and step grandchildren, Jayson, Cristal, Sergio,Jr., Cristian, Adam, Kaeleen, Averigh, Addyson and Kaden.

Memorial Services Celebrating Cassia's life will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.
